Infrastructure Architect

• Infrastructure Design: Architect and implement on-premise datacenter solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.

• Virtualization Platforms: Design and manage virtualization environments using VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.

• Network Architecture: Develop and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including routing, switching, and security configurations.

• Storage Solutions: Implement and optimize SAN/NAS storage technologies, ensuring redundancy and performance.

• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Define and enforce backup strategies and disaster recovery plans using industry-leading tools.

• Microsoft Technology Stack: Architect solutions leveraging Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and SQL Server for enterprise workloads.

• Performance & Capacity Planning: Conduct regular assessments to optimize infrastructure performance and plan for future growth.

• Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment and operational excellence.

• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive architectural documentation and technical specifications.

Technical Expertise:

• Experience: 10+ years in an Infrastructure Architect or similar role.

• Strong experience in on-premise datacenter architecture and operations.

• Deep knowledge of VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization platforms.

• Hands-on experience with enterprise storage technologies, backup solutions, and disaster recovery strategies.

• Advanced proficiency in Active Directory, Windows Server, and SQL Server administration.

• Solid understanding of network design, including VLANs, firewalls, and load balancing.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and work in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as:

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server / Azure Solutions Architect Expert
