About us🚀

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our partner company’s team within the Analytics AI & Data Tech (AIDT) organization. You’ll be part of the Sandbox team, which is responsible for delivering a high-performance, highly reliable analytics and data integration platform. This platform leverages cutting-edge technologies in public cloud (such as Snowflake and Databricks) and advanced analytics to support a wide range of users and use cases.

Key Responsibilities 💻

• Designing and developing cloud and Hadoop-based data solutions

• Participating in proof of concept initiatives and evaluating new tools and technologies

• Investigating and resolving ad-hoc data issues raised by power users

• Supporting ongoing data migration efforts

• Performing root cause analysis and collaborating with partner teams to implement solutions

• Providing support during late hours when necessary

• Taking part in Friday/weekend release cycles

• Participating in rotational support coverage until 8PM CET, 2-3 days per week

What will you need 💪

• Strong SQL skills with a focus on data integration (ETL, ELT)

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a directly relevant role

• At least 5 years of overall experience in IT or data-related roles

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science — or 10+ years of relevant work experience

• Experience in the design, development, and implementation of Data Lake and cloud-based solutions

• Hands-on development experience in at least one of the following:

  • Hadoop

  • Snowflake

  • Databricks

• Solid understanding of RDBMS and data warehousing concepts

Nice to have 💪

• Deep expertise in Snowflake and/or Databricks

• Experience with data analytics tools such as DataIKU, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.

• Knowledge of optimizing large-scale data loads

• Familiarity with robust error handling and data validation processes

• Experience designing ETL architectures and data conversion strategies

• Understanding of Agile methodologies

• Background in maintaining metadata and data dictionaries

• Scripting skills in UNIX Shell or Python for data warehousing support
